This Antique Diamond and Enamel Mourning Ring is 18ct yellow gold and silver, comprising a floral motif set with rose cut diamonds over a ground of black
enamel. The black enamel band with the lettering IN MEMORY OF,
inscribed JOHN DAVENFORT OB 30 JANRY 1844 AT 70, features partially
obscured full British hallmarks. The ring is 4.8 grams.
